1970's and 1980's Recession
John Shaw set up John Shaw Engineering in 1965
1983: David Lynagh & Simon Cox joined John Shaw Engineering as apprentices.
John Shaw Engineering quickly became well-established and respected company and moved to the current site at Copse Road Fleetwood
2001 9/11 and SARS
In the early 1990s, the company further expanded the factory to accommodate the business growth.
In 2006, John Shaw retired from and passed on the baton to David and Simon who both became the directors and together grew the business dramatically, with customers now as far as away as Taiwan.
2008 Global Banking Chrisis
In 2008 we achieved IS16949 accreditation and officially changed the name to JSE-UK.
The Directors now drove the business in a new direction, with production lines now running for a number of high-profile automotive customers, for example; Aston Martin, Lotus, Jaguar Land Rover, to name a few.
2016-2019 Brexit Uncertainty
By 2018, following sustained investment, JSE-UK is now a highly successful deign and manufacturing engineering business, with a well-established tool design, press shop, laser cutting facilities and an engineering tool making workshop.
2018: Danielle Lynagh-Richardson moves into General Management Role

Focus on Operational Excellence as part of the NMCL SC21 Competitiveness and Growth Programme
2020's & Beyond - Sustainability
In the 2020’s JSE-UK continues grow, adapt and evolve as the world and economies face up to sustainability and environment challenges
